About Erma's Nutrition Center

Located in the heart of Nassau Bay and just a stone's throw away from the Johnson Space Center, Erma's Nutrition Center and Natural Market (and its predecessors) has been supplying the Houston Bay Area with the finest in vitamins and supplements since 1967, and with premium organic foods and produce since 2004. The store is one of the longest continually operating businesses in the Houston Bay Area.

New customers are frequently surprised to discover such a treasure tucked into a quaint corner of the Nassau Bay Shopping Village, but a large and fiercely loyal customer base makes Erma's the best-kept, well-known secret in town!  In the Fall of 2019, Erma's and the Nassau Bay Farmers Market will be moving to a new, much larger location at 2332 E. NASA Road 1.

Along with a large assortment of top-of-the-line vitamins, supplements and homeopathic remedies, Erma's carries a wide variety of natural and organic grocery items, including the largest selection of wheat-free, gluten-free items in town and as well as many Paleo and KETO selections. Frozen choices include organic meats, frozen meals and gourmet and dairy-free ice creams.  Organic cheeses, milk, goat milk and local farm-fresh eggs are also available.  Fresh bread is always on hand, as is organic produce.

NASSAU BAY FARMERS MARKET

And speaking of produce, Erma's plays host to the Nassau Bay Farmers Market every Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM. In addition to organic fruits and veggies, the market also boasts grass-fed beef, free range chickens and eggs, organic baked goods, salsas, jams, and herbs and plants for sale, along with hand-made soaps, local honey, local kombucha, and a professional knife sharpener.

The market operates 52 weeks a year. In its history, weather has caused us to cancel only twice: for Hurricane Ike and for Hurricane Harvey; but only for one Saturday each time.

The mission of the Nassau Bay Farmers Market is to provide a friendly, peaceful, hospitable, non-political venue to present high quality, locally grown, organic fresh produce and related products from local growers, producers and artisans to enable area consumers to implement a healthy lifestyle. This Farmers Market gives growers, and artisans from around the Houston Bay Area the opportunity to provide a wide variety of quality fresh organic produce and related products directly to the consumer at affordable prices. The Market encourages direct communication between consumers and growers, fostering an opportunity for social interaction and community building.
